  • Do you design bespoke wedding gowns?
Yes! Jennifer Go creates original gowns designed just for you (couture). We also offer a wide array of demi-couture dresses that can be fully customised for you. All of our dresses are expertly hand-crafted. No two Jennifer Go dresses are ever the same! Couture dresses start at $7,000, and demi-couture gowns start at $4,000. Book a consultation to get started! Bring along inspiration images of styles you like and we can chat about fabrics, most flattering silhouettes, colours, embellishments and everything in-between.
  • Will my gown need alterations?
Our process is designed to ensure your dress fits perfectly on your wedding day. In the initial consultation, you will try on sample gowns to get a feel of what different shapes, fabrics and colours work best with you and your style. Then, during the toile (calico) fitting, a prototype of your wedding gown is made in a calico fabric so you can see all the main structural and design elements together. After the toile fitting, our expert seamstresses will create your actual dress. It will be made according to your toile and at each subsequent fitting, your wedding dress will be closer to completion. The final fitting is the collection fitting. This usually happens 2-4 weeks before your wedding day. It's best to not collect too early in case of any weight changes, you want your wedding dress to fit you perfectly on the day! These fittings are included as part of our standard design process, but please reach out if you are not available for multiple fittings at our Sydney location and need to make other arrangements.
  • How long does it take for my gown to be ready?
Typically it takes 4-6 months from our initial consultation to the final fitting and collection. The process involves several fittings because we want you to fall in love with your gown and how you look in it! Please reach out if you need a gown on a shorter timeframe.
  • What about rush orders?
Please contact us with details if you need a gown ready in less than four months. We do offer rush service for an additional fee.
  • Where can I buy a Jennifer Go gown?
Jennifer Go gowns are only available from Jennifer Go Bridal Couture. Make an appointment to try on dresses from our demi-couture collections or work with Jennifer to design an original at our location in the Cannery in Sydney, Australia.
  • I don't live near Sydney. How can I order a gown from you?
Our only physical location is currently in Sydney, Australia. Ideally brides-to-be will be available for several in-person appointments at our location to connect with Jennifer, try on dresses, and ensure proper fit. If you absolutely love one of our gowns but cannot make it to Sydney, please reach out about other options.
  • Do you ship dresses within Australia or internationally?
Ideally, brides collect their gowns in person at our Sydney location 2-4 weeks before their wedding. This allows us to do a final fitting to ensure perfection on your wedding day. Please contact us about alternative plans. Shipping times and cost will vary depending on your location.
  • Do you sell your gowns to brides outside of Australia?
Yes! Brides have worn our bespoke gowns at ceremonies from Iceland to Spain and the United States. The couture process works best in person, so please reach out with more details so we can design a process that works for you.
  • I love one of your gowns, but I want to change a few things. Can I?
Yes! Our demi-couture designs are intended to be changed. You can ask for different sleeves, neckline, embellishments, etc.
